ALMONDS (Prunus dulcis)

  • Dwarf Self Pollinating – Large papershell nut that is broad and oval in shape and has a sweet flavor. Small tree reaching to around 2 metres high and grown on a dwarf rootstock. Mid season maturity early March.

CHESTNUTS (Castanea satvia)

  • April Gold – A large tree producing a good crop of large, dark brown nuts encased in a prickly, green case known as a burr. Nuts are used for roasting. Better for a cold climate and is frost tolerant. Cross pollination with another variety is recommended. Fruit ripens April.
